Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about working together? Here are the most common things people ask before starting an engagement.
Ask a Question01.What types of organizations do you work with?
I work with small to mid-size businesses, MSPs, nonprofits, NGOs, and startups — especially those building or maintaining critical infrastructure. I have particular experience supporting organizations operating in resource-constrained environments, including USAID-funded projects.
02.Are you available for remote work or only on-site?
I work remotely by default and am comfortable with distributed teams and async collaboration. On-site engagements in the Greater Houston area and beyond are possible for projects that require physical presence — structured cabling, hardware deployment, etc.
03.Do you offer reduced rates for nonprofits?
Yes. Nonprofits and community organizations are a priority for me. I offer discounted rates and in many cases pro-bono work for mission-aligned organizations, particularly those focused on underserved communities, youth, or humanitarian work.
04.What does a typical engagement look like?
It starts with a discovery call to understand your infrastructure, challenges, and goals. I then provide a scope of work, timeline, and approach. Engagements can be one-time projects (audits, deployments) or ongoing retainer-based support depending on your needs.
05.Do you provide documentation and knowledge transfer?
Always. Documentation is not optional — it's part of every engagement. I believe in leaving organizations more capable than I found them. All configurations, procedures, and infrastructure decisions are documented and transferred to your team.
